Terms and Conditions
In placing an order with Batterygenie (THENEWPC) either via the website or telephone you accept the following terms and conditions.
In accordance with the DSR (Distance Selling Regulations) We offer a refund on goods (excluding all return postage charges) which are returned to us in perfect condition and in their original packaging within 7 days of delivery if you are not fully satisfied with our products. All goods must be returned in their original condition and original packaging where applicable. Any software product seals must also be in place. The cost of return postage is the responsibility of the consumer.
Unless otherwise stated all of the batteries and accessories to the best of our knowledge offered for sale on our website are OEM (Original Manufacturer's Equipment) this includes Refurbished Batteries.
We can only accept a claim for an order being lost in transit if you notify us that the goods have not been received within 14 days of being dispatched. The dispatch date would be assumed to be two working days after the order was placed not including weekends or bank holidays.
We cannot accept a claim for goods that are lost in transit until 10 working days after the date of dispatch.
Once an order has been sent it is not possible to cancel the order for a refund until the goods have been returned. Goods "lost in transit" is not a valid reason to cancel an order.
Please ensure that the address details you provide when ordering are 100% correct. We cannot be held responsible for goods which do not arrive due to incorrectly supplied address details.
Please notify us immediately if you experience any problems with our products.
If we are unable to fulfil an order owing to stock issues we will give you an estimated time of delivery or offer a full refund.
Our liability is limited to the value of products supplied by us.
Faulty goods will be exchanged, repaired or refunded at our discretion within the guarantee period. We offer a 3 month warranty on all our used, Grade A items.
On international deliveries any import duty or sales tax is the customers responsibility.
All postal items may be examined by Customs, but normally letters, packets containing documents or similar forms of correspondence are excluded, as are items addressed to EU countries.
We reserve the right not to supply and in cases where we chose not to do so a full refund will be given.
We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 5% in cases where orders are cancelled without reason prior to delivery. This is to cover our handling costs.
The nature of some electrical devices requires that the device may need to be partially dismantled to change the battery. We do not accept any liability for damage which may be caused in the fitting of batteries sold by us. If you are at all unsure about the manner in which to replace a battery we recommend that you seek advice from a specialist (eg. an electrical retailer) or otherwise competent person. Our liability in all cases remains limited to the value of goods supplied by us.
